What we try to provide

• Semantic headings and a skip link to the main content.
• Visible focus styles and a mobile menu that can be closed with Escape.
• Text alternatives on informational images.
• Color that is not the only way to read a status.
• Respect for prefers-reduced-motion on reveal animations.
• Content that remains available when JavaScript is off, including the header, footer, disclaimer, and articles.

Known limits

Some archival photographs are atmospheric. We still give them a short alt text. Complex tables on spectrum and cookie pages may be easier on a wide screen; they can be scrolled horizontally rather than cropped.

Compatibility

We test current versions of common browsers on desktop and a mobile-width viewport. We do not claim conformance to a numbered WCAG certificate.

Text and motion

Body copy is set for long reading. Reveal animations stay off until JavaScript marks the document ready, and they stay off if you ask the system to reduce motion. The articles remain readable with scripts disabled.

Language

The public site is English. If a Spanish-language explanation would remove a barrier for you, say so in the mail. We cannot promise a full translation of every note.

Images

Photographs that carry information have a short text alternative. Decorative crops still get a brief description so a skipped image is not a silent hole. If an alternative is wrong or missing, write to [email protected] with the page URL.

Forms and cookies

There is no account form. The cookie banner can be opened from the footer after a first choice. If the banner traps focus or cannot be dismissed with a keyboard, that is a defect — send the browser and the page.
